As of 1 July 2026, the Netherlands will replace the current Eurovignette system with a distance-based road toll for heavy goods vehicles.

The new road toll will be based on the distance driven within the Netherlands and will apply to heavy vehicles operating on the Dutch road network.

As a result, DACHSER will begin charging a road toll surcharge for the Netherlands from 1 July 2026, where applicable.

The purpose of this surcharge is to cover the new external cost introduced by the Dutch road toll system.

The surcharge will be invoiced in accordance with the applicable transport terms and contractual agreements.
