Reach the Nordic Market through Hyllinge<\/span><\/h3>\n

Frigoscandia is the leading player in temperature-controlled food logistics in the Nordic region. The new facility in Hyllinge will be our largest, handling and storing food as well as serving as a hub for import and export volumes. <\/span><\/p>\n

The facility is tailored to our customers\u2019 needs and therefore includes several temperature zones, including freezer, refrigerated, and ambient storage. The freezer section covers a total of 18,300 m\u00b2 where the temperature can be lowered to -25\u00b0C. The facility also includes an office area of approximately 2,500 m\u00b2, which will be Frigoscandia\u2019s new headquarters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Strategiq location close the the boarder<\/h3>\n

The warehouse\u2019s geographical location in Helsingborg is one of the best in the Nordic region, close to the border with Denmark. The warehouse is located in close proximity to Sweden\u2019s two largest highways for northbound traffic. Helsingborg Port is only 20 minutes from the facility, offering opportunities for both import and export via sea transport. For road transport to and from the continent, there is a land route to Puttgarden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Frigoscandia offers high geographical accessibility through Sweden\u2019s most comprehensive transport network for temperature-controlled food logistics under its own control, both from a producer and a recipient perspective. We can also take overall responsibility for coordinating production solutions involving multiple parties and countries in the Nordic region. We strive for our customers to feel close to the market through our various logistics services that handle everything from goods from 1 kg, in the Leap Delivery service, up to full loads. This means we can offer both small and large customers attractive solutions that we are alone in the market to provide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Environmental Profile<\/span><\/h3>\n

The facility has an ambitious environmental profile with a focus on sustainability. The ambition is for the property to be environmentally certified according to BREEAM Excellent. Approximately 6,500 solar panels are installed on the roof of the property. The solar park covers an area of approximately 28,500 m\u00b2 and is expected to produce approximately 3.2 GWh of solar electricity per year. This makes it one of the largest solar installations in the region. The electricity is used to produce cooling for Frigoscandia\u2019s new refrigerated and freezer storage and is expected to reduce our need for purchased electricity by approximately 25%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Certificates at Hyllinge<\/strong><\/h3>\n

BRC: <\/b>The global standard for food safety developed by the British Retail Consortium (BRC), an organization for the largest retail chains in the UK. The standard is approved by the retail organization Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).<\/span><\/p>\n

AEOF: <\/b>AEOF is an EU-wide authorization issued by the Swedish Customs and aims to create increased security for goods through the international supply chain. Achieving the authorization means a stamp of good quality and security for Frigoscandia and its customers. AEO is fundamentally an authorization for order and control, having control over its customs management and its part of the chain in international trade.<\/span><\/p>\n
