Peter Haveneth, CEO at Frigoscandia, resigns: \u201dMy mission is accomplished, it\u2019s a good time to hand over.\u201d<\/h3>\n

Peter Haveneth has resigned after more than six years as CEO of Frigoscandia AB. He will hand over the responsibility after the summer. In the meantime, until a successor has been appointed, current CFO Kristian J\u00f6nsson will, as of August 1st<\/sup>, serve as acting CEO of Frigoscandia and lead the company in close collaboration with Erik B\u00f6rtemark (COO Transportation) and M\u00e5rten Koshko (COO Warehousing), and the rest of the management team in Frigoscandia.<\/p>\n

Peter Haveneth was recruited to Frigoscandia (formerly Bring Frigo AB, owned by Posten Norge AS) with the mission to divest the company to a new owner. After a comprehensive turnaround to create a strong, independent company, Frigoscandia was sold at the end of 2021 to the private equity firm Mutares. The growth journey continued, and in March 2024, the company was acquired by the global logistics group Dachser, a long-term industrial owner.<\/p>\n

\u201dIt is with pride that I now leave Frigoscandia. I am grateful for these years during which I have had the opportunity to work with fantastic colleagues and together create a successful independent Frigoscandia. My mission is accomplished and it\u2019s a good time to hand over. Frigoscandia now enters a new, incredibly exciting phase as part of the family owned Dachser group. I am convinced that Frigoscandia is heading towards a very bright future,” says Peter Haveneth.<\/p>\n

Alexander Tonn, COO Road Logistics at Dachser and the chairman of the board at Frigoscandia states, “We would have liked to see Peter remain as CEO of Frigoscandia, but we respect his decision. He has made a tremendous contribution to the company, and we wish him the best of luck in his new endeavours. We have full confidence in the management team at Frigoscandia and are looking forward to continuing our integration plans together with the entire team to further strengthen our position as a market leader for temperature-controlled food logistics in the Nordics.”<\/p>\n
