\nThe Swedish Competition Authority has now approved the deal and G\u00f6tene Kyltransporter AB (GKT) is now formally a subsidiary of Frigoscandia.<\/p>\n

Frigoscandia increases its service offering \u2013<\/h2>\n

Frigoscandia AB has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in G\u00f6tene Kyltransporter AB. The acquisition of G\u00f6tene Kyltransporter is Frigoscandia\u2019s second in 2022 as Polar Frakt AS in Norway was acquired earlier this year. Approval from the Swedish Competition Authority is required before a change of ownership takes effect.<\/p>\n

Frigoscandia is the market leader in temperature-controlled food logistics in the Nordics with the strategy to offer complete Supply-Chain Management services to the food industry. Within the framework of this strategy, Frigoscandia will now be strengthening its logistics network through this acquisition.<\/p>\n

For many years, G\u00f6tene Kyltransporter has been a strategic partner for Frigoscandia. Through the acquisition, the joint customer offer will be developed for storage and transport services.<\/p>\n

– G\u00f6tene Kyltransporter operates in an important food logistic region. The acquisition will further strengthen Frigoscandia\u2019s presence in this strategic region, which will increase our service to both companies\u2019 customers, says Peter Haveneth, CEO at Frigoscandia.<\/p>\n

After the acquisition, Frigoscandia will have a total of 15 warehouses, and over 250 vehicles in its owned subsidiaries, G\u00f6tene Kyltransporter, Svebol Logistics, and Frigoscandia \u00c5keri.<\/p>\n
